Projekta nosaukums ir “Latvijas Jūras akadēmijas STEM studiju programmu modernizācija”.Projekta mērķis – materiāltehniskās bāzes atjaunošana, lai uzlabotu un nodrošinātu STEM mācību programmas, nodrošinot STCW-78 konvencijas prasības mācību procesa nodrošināšanā.Veiksmīga projekta ieviešana nodrošinās ne tikai visaptverošu SAM 8.1.1. noteikto mērķu, bet arī LJA stratēģijā 2018.-2023. gadam noteikto mērķu sasniegšanu:MISIJALJA misija ir sniegt augstāko profesionālo jūrniecības izglītību un akadēmisko sagatavotību, attīstīt lietišķo zinātni un uzturēt nepieciešamo Latvijas jūrniecības nozares intelektuālo potenciālu un veicināt tā attīstību.VĪZIJAKļūt par klasiskās un viedās jūrniecības izglītības līderi Baltijas jūras reģionā, attīstoties kā zinātnes un kompetenču centram.VĒRTĪBASLJA galvenā vērtība ir augsta LJA reputācija, ko nodrošina akadēmiskais godīgums un kompetenti, aktīvi cilvēki: mācībspēki, studējošie un darbinieki.Projekta mērķis tiešā veidā sekmē SAM noteikto mērķi un atbilst RIS 3 stratēģijas 3.tautsaimniecības transformācijas virziena 5.prioritātei “Moderna un nākotnes darba tirgus prasībām atbilstoša izglītības sistēma, kas veicina tautsaimniecības transformāciju un VSS prioritāšu īstenošanai nepieciešamo kompetenču, uzņēmējspējas un radošuma attīstību visos izglītības līmeņos”. LJA atbilstoši īstenotajām augstākās izglītības studiju programmām, kas apstiprinātas studiju virziena “Mehānika un metālapstrāde, siltumenerģētika, siltumtehnika un mašīnzinības” ietvaros ir cieši saistīta ar viedās specializācijas jomu “Viedie materiāli, tehnoloģijas un inženiersistēma”.Kopš 2005. gada sākuma LJA ir ieguvusi klasifikācijas sabiedrības “DNV GL” sertifikātu par vadības sistēmas atbilstību kvalitātes vadības sistēmu standarta ISO 9001:2008 prasībām, sertifikācijas jomā “Augstākā profesionālā jūrniecības izglītība un jūrnieku apmācība”. The aim of the project is to update the material technical base to improve and ensure STEM training programs, ensuring the requirements of the STCW-78 Convention in ensuring the training process.The successful project implementation will ensure not only the comprehensive objectives set out in the SAM 8.1.1, but also the achievement of the goals set in the LJA strategy 2018-2023: The mission of the CISA is to provide higher professional maritime education and academic training, to develop applied science, and to maintain the necessary maritime expertise in the Baltic Sea Comprehensitiveness in the Baltic region. The aim of the project directly contributes to the goal set by the SDGs and corresponds to priority 5 of the RIS 3 strategy’s 3rd national economy transformation direction “A modern and future labour market-based education system that promotes the transformation of the economy and the development of competences, entrepreneurial capacity and creativity at all levels of education necessary to implement the priorities of the CSS”. In accordance with the implemented higher education study programs approved within the study direction “Mechanics and Metalworking, Heat Energy, Heat Engineering and Machinery” is closely connected to the field of smart specialisation “Smart Materials, Technologies and Engineering System”.Since the beginning of 2005 the LJA has obtained the certificate of the classification society “DNV GL” on the compliance of the management system with the requirements of the quality management system standard ISO 9001:2008, in the field of certification “Highest professional maritime education and training for seafarers”. In 2001, the LJA Training Centre has obtained the certificate of the certification company “Bureau Veritas” regarding the compliance of the management system with ISO 9002:1994, but in 2017 certified ISO 9001:2015.The project includes 3 actions:1)Project management2)Procurement implementation3) Purchase and implementation of equipment within the framework of the project implementation of the project is planned to purchase equipment that will improve the operation of STEM training programmes, providing modern technical support for LJA students to improve their knowledge and competences. 20 months from 1 May 2021, total cost EUR 273478.00.
