Com a presente Operação pretende-se implementar uma estratégia de proteção de maciços florestais contra incêndios de Oliveira de Azeméis, de forma a contribuir para a redução dos incêndios florestais, mediante o reforço da instalação da RDFCI, em terreno não privado, prevendo-se a adaptação de cerca de 19 km de rede viária florestal de acesso a pontos de água de 1.ª ordem.
