O projeto objectiva a construção de percursos pedonais e cicláveis no principal centro urbano de concelho, visando a promoção de modos suaves de deslocação não motorizados (bicicleta e pedonal), considerada uma estratégia a adotar para fazer baixar o teor de carbono existente na atmosfera, nomeadamente nas zonas urbanas. The project aims at the construction of pedestrian and cycling routes in the main urban centre of the municipality, with the aim of promoting smooth non-motorised (bicycle and pedestrian) modes of travel, which is considered a strategy to be adopted to lower the existing carbon content in the atmosphere, particularly in urban areas. In the pursuit of the same desideratum, the Operation also provides for the implementation of a system of shared bicycles. (English)
