A área de intervenção corresponde, de certa forma, a uma sub-unidade do complexo edificado, uma vez que se encontra fisicamente separado da zona prisional pelo muro que constitui o caminho de guarda. Os edifícios 1 e 3 serão objeto de reconversão, o edifício 2 de demolição parcial e assegurar-se-á, ainda o tratamento dos espaços exteriores. Será aberta a vedação, criando-se uma praça que ligará a frente de edifícios ao exterior. (Portuguese)

The intervention area corresponds, in a certain way, to a sub-unit of the built complex, since it is physically separated from the prison area by the wall that constitutes the path of guarding. Buildings 1 and 3 will be refurbished, building 2 will be partially demolished and the outer spaces will be treated.
