O programa tem como objetivo desenvolver soluções fotovoltaicas sustentáveis: células solares baseadas em materiais não-críticos e concentradores solares luminescentes baseados em R-ficoeritrina, mimetizando a fotossíntese. A transformação de eletricidade verde em hidrogénio permite mitigar a intermitência da energia solar e a análise do ciclo de vida permitirá estimar a eficiência energética das soluções propostas. The programme aims to develop sustainable photovoltaic solutions: Solar cells based on non-critical materials and luminescent solar concentrators weeds in R-ficoerythrin, mimicking photosynthesis. The transformation of green electricity into hydrogen allows to mitigate the intermittent solar energy and life cycle analysis will allow estimating the energy efficiency of the proposed solutions.
