Το έργο αφορά στον εκσυγχρονισμό της υλικοτεχνικής υποδομής του Ενιαίου Κέντρου Συντονισμού Έρευνας και Διάσωσης (ΕΚΣΕΔ) στον τομέα των τηλεπικοινωνιών, με στόχο τον αποτελεσματικότερο συντονισμό των διαθέσιμων μέσων προς παροχή υπηρεσιών έρευνας και διάσωσης και την ταχύτερη διάσωση κινδυνευόντων προσώπων για το σύνολο των μετακινούμενων σε ξηρά, θάλασσα και αέρα, επιτυγχάνοντας συνολικά με τον τρόπο αυτό την αναβάθμιση των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών έρευνας και διάσωσης προς τον πολίτη. The project concerns the modernisation of the logistical infrastructure of the Single Centre for Research and Rescue Coordination (CCCS) in the field of telecommunications, with the aim of more effective coordination of the means available for the provision of search and rescue services and the quicker rescue of persons at risk for all persons on land, sea and air, thereby achieving an overall upgrade of the search and rescue services provided to the citizen.
