Αντικείμενο του έργου είναι η εκπόνηση της μελέτης για την τροποποίηση του από 22/12/2005 εγκριθέντος Περιφερειακού Σχεδιασμού Διαχείρισης Αποβλήτων (ΠΕΣΔΑ), σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις της Κ.Υ.Α. 50910/2727/2003 (ΦΕΚ Β΄1029/23-12-03) και του Ν. 4042/2012 (ΦΕΚ 24/Α/13-02-2012), καθώς και της συναφούς με αυτόν απαιτούμενης Στρατηγικής Μελέτης Περιβαλλοντικών Επιπτώσεων (ΣΜΠΕ).
