Ο Ιερός Ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου «Μεγάλη Παναγιά» βρίσκεται εντός του οικισμού της Σαμαρίνας Γρεβενών και είναι κηρυγμένος ως ιστορικό διατηρητέο μνημείο (Φ.Ε.Κ. 35/Β/02.02.1962). Ανήκει στον τύπο των τρίκλιτων ξυλόστεγων βασιλικών με ημικυκλική αψίδα ιερού και υπερυψωμένο διώροφο γυναικωνίτη, γενικών εξωτερικών διαστάσεων 37.70μ.Χ17.60μ.Το προτεινόμενο έργο περιλαμβάνει εργασίες στερέωσης, αντισεισμικής θωράκισης και αποκατάστασης του μνημείου για την ασφαλή επαναλειτουργία του. The Church of the Dormition of Virgin Mary “Megali Panagia” is located within the settlement of Samarina Grevena and is declared as a historical preserved monument (F.E.C. 35/Β/02.02.1962). It belongs to the type of three-aisled basilica with a semicircular apse of a sanctuary and an elevated two-storey gynaonite, of general external dimensions 37.70 m.Ch17.60 m.The proposed work includes works of fixing, anti-seismic shielding and restoration of the monument for its safe reopening.
