Το Πολυδύναμο Κέντρο θα αποτελέσει βασικό πυλώνα του δικτύου υπηρεσιών κατά των εξαρτήσεων στην Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου. Η έδρα του συγκεκριμένου Κέντρου θα είναι στην Καλαμάτα, αλλά θα λειτουργεί σε δίκτυο με τις υφιστάμενες υπηρεσίες κατά των εξαρτήσεων στην Περιφέρεια Πελοποννήσου, καθώς και με τις υπόλοιπες δομές υγείας/κοινωνικής φροντίδας (Νοσοκομεία, Κέντρα Υγείας, Κέντρα Ψυχικής Υγείας, Κοινωνικές Υπηρεσίες Δήμων, Κοινωνικά Ιατρεία κ.λ.π.) φιλοδοξώντας να συμβάλλει στη συνολική κάλυψη διαφορετικών ομάδων στόχου. Στόχος του Πολυδύναμου Κέντρου είναι να παρέχει ένα περιβάλλον ασφάλειας και εμπιστοσύνης, μέσα στο οποίο δύναται να αναπτυχθεί θεραπευτική σχέση, ώστε τα εξαρτημένα άτομα να υποστηριχθούν προκειμένου να αντιμετωπίσουν προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν. Για την αποτελεσματικότερη υποστήριξη των εξυπηρετούμενων θα ακολουθείται ολιστική προσέγγιση και τις δομές θα μπορούν να προσεγγίζουν και τα άτομα του στενού τους περιβάλλοντος, αναγνωρίζοντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο την σημασία της οικογένειας στην αντιμετώπιση των εξαρτήσεων. The Multipurpose Centre will be a key pillar of the network of anti-dependence services in the Region of Peloponnese. The headquarters of this Centre will be in Kalamata, but will operate in a network with existing anti-dependencies services in the Region of Peloponnese, as well as with the other health/social care structures (Hospitals, Health Centres, Mental Health Centres, Social Services Municipalities, Social Clinics, etc.) aspiring to contribute to the overall coverage of different target groups. The aim of the Multipurpose Centre is to provide an environment of security and trust, in which a therapeutic relationship can be developed, so that dependents can be supported in order to cope with problems they face. In order to provide more effective support for the service providers, a holistic approach will be followed and structures will be able to reach out to people in their intimate environment, thereby recognising the importance of the family in dealing with dependencies.
