Η υποστήριξη των δράσεων κοινωνικού χαρακτήρα είναι πιο επίκαιρη και επιτακτική από ποτέ. Ο Δήμος Κορυδαλλού αποτελεί ήδη το βασικό φορέα άσκησης κοινωνικής πολιτικής σε τοπικό επίπεδο με ωφελούμενους χιλιάδες δημότες- έμμεσα ή άμεσα, οι οποίοι πλέον εντάσσονται στις ευάλωτες ομάδες κυρίως λόγω της οικονομικής κρίσης που βιώνει η χώρα. Η λειτουργία της δομής του Κέντρου Ημερήσιας Φροντίδας Ηλικιωμένων (ΚΗΦΗ) Δήμου Κορυδαλλού έχει αποδειχθεί ότι τα τελευταία χρόνια αποτελεί μια από τις βασικές υπηρεσίες στην άσκηση της κοινωνικής πολιτικής του δήμου. Η εμπειρία αυτή αλλά και η δράση που έχει αναπτύξει σχετικά ο δήμος του Κορυδαλλού διασφαλίζουν την επιτυχία του έργου με την αποτελεσματική χρήση των αιτούμενων πόρων. Η συνέχιση της συγκεκριμένης δράσης για τα επόμενα τρία έτη είναι τεράστιας σημασίας τόσο για τον ευπαθή τοπικό πληθυσμό όσο και για το οικογενειακό περιβάλλον αυτού. Η επιλογή του συγκεκριμένου χώρου διαθέτει όλα εκείνα τα χαρακτηριστικά της προσβασιμότητας, ο υπάρχων εξοπλισμός, το έμπειρο και καταρτισμένο προσωπικό καθώς και οι προβλέψεις για την αναβάθμιση όλων των προηγούμενων στοιχείων της δομής θα διασφαλίσουν την επίτευξη των στόχων του έργου. Support for social actions is more timely and imperative than ever. The Municipality of Korydallos is already the main body of social policy at local level with thousands of citizens benefiting – indirectly or directly, who are now part of the vulnerable groups mainly because of the economic crisis that the country is experiencing. The functioning of the structure of the Centre for the Daily Care of the Elderly (KITH) Municipality of Korydallos has proved to be one of the basic services in the implementation of the social policy of the municipality. This experience and the action developed by the municipality of Korydallos ensure the success of the project with the effective use of the requested resources. The continuation of this action over the next three years is of enormous importance for both the vulnerable local population and the family environment. The selection of this site has all the features of accessibility, the existing equipment, experienced and trained personnel as well as the provisions for upgrading all the previous elements of the structure will ensure the achievement of the project’s objectives.
