Projektom će se razviti i primijenit napredni sustav praćenja, predviđanja i izvješćivanja o stanju ekosustava rječne doline koji se dominantno koristi za poljoprivredu. Referentna lokacija je delta Neretve zbog različitosti ekoloških zona koje se izmjenjuju u prostoru, različitog načina i intenziteta korištenja, uključujući površinske vodotoke unutar rječne delte, krške vodonosnike i podzemnu vodu, poljoprivredno zemljište različitog intenziteta uređenosti, zaštićena močvarna staništa i priobalno more. Cilj projekta je prikupljati prostorno i vremenski artikulirane podatke o kvaliteti vode i tla multisenzorskim učestalim motrenjem za predviđanje procesa i predlaganje rješenja za upravljanje sustavom u riziku od zaslanjenja i onečišćenja. The project will develop and implement an advanced system of monitoring, forecasting and reporting on the state of the harvested Valley ecosystem that is dominant for agriculture. The reference location is the Neretva Delta delta due to the different ecological zones modified in the area, the different modes and intensity of use, including surface watercourses, within the lower delta, the karstic aquifers and groundwater, the agricultural land with the different degree of urea intensity, protected wetland and the coastal sea. The aim of the project is to collect spatial and time-based articulated data on water quality and soil multisensory mapping to anticipate processes and propose solutions for managing the system at risk of congestion and pollution.
