Övergripande mål 1. Att verka för en full utbyggnad av E16 mellan Gävle hamn och Borlänge som Sveriges första fullt utbyggda elväg. 2. Att ge möjligheter för regionens företag att skapa innovation och exportmöjligheter genom den nya tekniken. 3. Att använda intresset för elvägar att attrahera kompetens, investeringar och annan nytta till regionen. Projektmål Att bidra till att Gävleborg blir en ledande region i införandet av fossil- eller utsläppsfria, socialt och ekonomiskt hållbara transportsystem för människor, företag och samhälle med Gävleborg som `kommersiell testbädd¿ och förlaga för framtida värdekedjor. Social hållbarhet inkluderar arbete med jämställdhet och likabehandling. Delmål 1: Projektet ¿Verklighetslabb¿ ska tillsammans med Trafikverket och eventuella tillkommande regioner presentera en plan för hur full utbyggnad av elvägsteknik i Norra Mellansverige ska uppnås före 2030 där hållbarhetsfrågor och SME:s möjligheter speciellt uppmärksammas. Delmål 2: Fortsatt utveckling av samverkansplattform med stärkta relationer och förtroende i olika kompletterande nätverk som ger förutsättningar för gemensamma utvecklingsinsatser. Kontaktarbeten och kommunikationsinsatser som leder till konkreta samarbeten kring elvägsutbyggnad och/eller utveckling med minst en region i Sverige och en region i Tyskland ska upprättas under projektperioden. Speciellt uppmärksamhet tillägnas SME:s möjligheter i dessa samarbeten. Delmål 3: Vidareutveckling av koncept, modeller och kunskap kring hållbara transportsystem för att stödja utvecklingen innovationer och affärer för regionens företag. Främst handlar det om de kritiska ¿mjuka faktorerna¿ som utvecklingsledarskap med fungerande samverkansmodeller, beprövade affärsmodeller med tillförlitliga kalkylunderlag, social hållbarhet där jämställdhet och likabehandling ingår samt hur upphandlingsmodeller kan användas på optimala sätt för att skapa investeringsbarhet. Delmål 4: Ökad FoI-kapacitet för SME i regionen genom information, inspiration och kunskapsutveckling om innovativa processer med elvägar och hållbara transportsystem som goda exempel och fallstudier. Stärkt mognad och handlingsberedskap i regionen att ta hand om möjligheter till innovationer och affärer med eventuell elvägsutbyggnad med speciell uppmärksamhet på SME:s utvecklingsmöjligheter. Elvägar som exempel på innovationsprocess är känd bland SME-företag i regionen i branscher som ligger nära de tjänster och produkter som ingår i den nya infrastrukturen. Förväntat resultat vid projektavslut ¿ Projektet har tillsammans med Trafikverket och eventuella tillkommande regioner presenterat en realistisk och tidsatt plan för hur full utbyggnad av elvägsteknik i Norra Mellansverige ska uppnås före 2030. ¿ Projektet har utvecklat avancerad kunskap och lärande på flera plan: tekniskt, organisatoriskt, akademiskt och praktiskt. ¿ Projektet har bidragit till att stödja utvecklingen av innovationer och affärer för regionens företag speciellt kring modeller för samverkan, affärsmodeller, upphandling, hållbarhetsfrågor och värdekedjor. ¿ FoI-kapaciteten för SME i regionen har stärkts genom information, inspiration och kunskapsutveckling om innovativa processer med elvägar och hållbara transportsystem som goda exempel och fallstudier. ¿ SME i regionen har stärkt förmågan att tillgodogöra sig potentialen till innovation och att göra affärer i eventuell elvägsutbyggnad ¿ Elvägar som exempel på innovationsprocess är känd bland SME-företag i regionen ¿ Projektet har stimulerat regionens näringsliv att bli `early adopters¿ av nya ekonomiskt och miljömässigt hållbara transportsystem. ¿ Förutsättningarna att påverka jämställdhetsarbetet och likabehandling i elvägsinfrastrukturen är undersökta. ¿ Minst 5 ytterligare projektidéer/innovationer ska ha genererats till regionen tack vare projektet dvs via besökare eller intressenter i projektet. Overall Goal 1. To work for a full expansion of the E16 between Gävle harbor and Borlänge as Sweden’s first fully developed electric road. 2. To provide opportunities for the region’s companies to create innovation and export opportunities through the new technology. 3. To use interest in electric roads to attract expertise, investments and other benefits to the region. Project goals To contribute to Gävleborg becoming a leading region in the introduction of fossil- or emission-free, socially and economically sustainable transport systems for people, companies and society with Gävleborg as a commercial test bed and model for future value chains. Social sustainability includes work on gender equality and equality. Sub-target 1: The project ¿Reality Lab together with the Swedish Transport Administration and any additional regions present a plan for how full expansion of electric road technology in Northern Central Sweden will be achieved before 2030 where sustainability issues and SME’s opportunities are particularly highlighted. Sub-target 2: Continued development of collaboration platform with strengthened relationships and trust in various complementary networks that provide conditions for joint development efforts. Contact work and communication efforts that lead to concrete cooperation on the development of electric roads and/or development with at least one region in Sweden and one region in Germany shall be established during the project period. Special attention is paid to SME’s possibilities in these collaborations. Sub-target 3: Further development of concepts, models and knowledge of sustainable transport systems to support development innovations and business for the region’s companies. It is primarily about the critical ¿soft factors¿s such as development leadership with functioning collaboration models, proven business models with reliable calculus, social sustainability where gender equality and equal treatment are included, and how procurement models can be used in optimal ways to create investmentability. Sub-target 4: Increased FoI capacity for SME in the region through information, inspiration and knowledge development on innovative processes with electric roads and sustainable transport systems as good examples and case studies. Strengthened maturity and preparedness in the region to take care of opportunities for innovations and business with potential electric road expansion with special attention to SME’s development opportunities. Electric roads as an example of innovation process are known among SMEs in the region in industries that are close to the services and products included in the new infrastructure. Expected results at project completion – The project has, together with the Swedish Transport Administration and any additional regions, presented a realistic and timed plan for how full expansion of electric road technology in Northern Central Sweden will be achieved before 2030. The project has developed advanced knowledge and learning on several levels: technical, organizational, academic and practical. The project has helped to support the development of innovations and business for the region’s companies, especially on models for collaboration, business models, procurement, sustainability issues and value chains. ¿FoI capacity for SME in the region has been strengthened through information, inspiration and knowledge development on innovative processes with electric roads and sustainable transport systems as good examples and case studies. ¿SME in the region has strengthened the ability to assimilate the potential for innovation and to do business in potential electric road development – Elvägar as an example of innovation process is known among SME companies in the region – The project has stimulated the region’s business community to become ‘early adopters’ of new economically and environmentally sustainable transport systems. The prerequisites to influence gender equality and equal treatment in the electric road infrastructure have been investigated. ¿Minst 5 additional project ideas/innovations should have been generated to the region thanks to the project, i.e. through visitors or stakeholders in the project.
