    Projekt polega na opracowaniu metod wytwarzania innowacyjnych produktów - matrycowych, certyfikowanych materiałów odniesienia (CRM) wykorzystywanych w badaniach i analityce paliw stałych (węgla kamiennego). Opracowany, dzięki przeprowadzeniu prac badawczo-rozwojowych, produkt będzie pierwszym tego typu produktem polskiej produkcji, posiadającym dodatkowo zestaw unikalnych właściwości tj. wartości przypisane (certyfikowane) pięciu podstawowych parametrów: zawartość siarki (St), zawartość popiołu (A), zawartość rtęci (Hgt) oraz metalu #1 i metalu #2.
