Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Będzie się on cechował wysoką skutecznością, znacznie ograniczonymi działaniami niepożądanymi i niskim kosztem. Projekt obejmie badania kliniczne fazy I i IIa kandydata leczniczego. W celu ograniczenia ryzyka, wyłoniony zostanie także strukturalnie inny związek rezerwowy tzw. „back-up candidate”. Kandydat kliniczny to bardzo aktywny i bezpieczny inhibitor kwaśnej chitynazy ssaków (ang. AMCase), enzymu, którego nasilone wytwarzanie w płucach chorych pełni ważną rolę w patogenezie astmy. Związek został odkryty przez Wnioskodawcę w projekcie pt.: „Opracowanie selektywnych inhibitorów kwaśnej chitynazy ssaków do leczenia astmy” (1.4 PO IG). Ma on unikatowy mechanizm działania, wysoką aktywność in vitro i in vivo, atrakcyjny profil farmakokinetyczny i nie wykazuje istotnych działań ubocznych. Związek wykazał również aktywność w mysim modelu nieswoistych chorób zapalnych jelit (ang. IBD). Dlatego dodatkowym celem projektu jest potwierdzenie jego działania w różnych modelach zwierzęcych tej choroby i zarejestrowanie do badań klinicznych u chorych na IBD. (Polish)

Reference number of the aid programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L. I'm sorry. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The subject of the project is innovative medical therapy of asthma, chronic inflammatory disease, which in the world suffers about. 300 million people. Treatment of asthma includes the administration of ad hoc bronchodilators and anti-inflammatory drugs. Analysis (GlobalData) shows that despite many drugs on the market, asthma remains unmet by the medical need for efficacy, adverse reactions and costs. Therefore, the main objective of the project is to demonstrate the therapeutic effect of a new candidate in humans. It will be highly effective, significantly limited undesirable effects and at low cost. The project will cover the Phase I and IIa clinical trials of the therapeutic candidate. In order to mitigate the risk, a structurally different reserve relationship will also be established. A back-up candidate. The clinical candidate is a very active and safe inhibitor of mammalian acid chitinase. AMCase is an enzyme whose increased production in the lungs of patients plays an important role in the pathogenesis of asthma. The relationship was discovered by the Applicant in a project entitled: Development of selective mammalian acid chitinase inhibitors for asthma treatment (1.4 OP IG). It has a unique mechanism of action, high in vitro and in vivo activity, attractive pharmacokinetic profile and has no significant side effects. The relationship has also shown activity in a mouse model of non-specific inflammatory bowel diseases. IBD). Therefore, the additional objective of the project is to confirm its operation in various animal models of this disease and to register for clinical trials in patients with IBD. (English)
