    Předmětem projektu Energeticky soběstačné obce Kněžice je modernizace stávající kněžické bioplynové stanice tak, aby mohla zpracovávat doposud nezpracovávané biologicky rozložitelné odpady vznikající na jejím území a v bezprostředním okolí. Dojde k navýšení kapacity BPS zvýšením zpracovávaného množství vstupní suroviny. Relevantním odpadem, který by měl být nově zpracováván a využíván, jsou biologicky rozložitelné složky komunálního odpadu (zejména katalogové číslo 200202 a 200108). (Czech)
