The project "Modak-T LLC - Koumpis Ioannis - Crossborder partnership in pellets industry" includes complex investments in production and store equipment for the production and trading of pellets from wood and primary treated wood - beams and boards. Its aim is to increase the competitiveness of the two SMEs in the crossborder area of Greece-Bulgaria, as well as to create new sustainable jobs. More specifically, the investment includes the following main activities: 1. Investments in two existing enterprises, including purchase of equipment, transport vehicles and IT equipment 2. increasing employment in an existing enterprise. 3. Promotion and marketing activities. The aim of the investment plan is: to modernize, to increase its sales, to reduce its costs and operating costs, to improve its products and the quality of the services provided, to improve its competitiveness vis-à-vis other businesses in the region and to offer new job positions.
