The MARITTIMOTECH + project aims to promote the competitiveness of new businesses in the cross-border priority sectors defined by the Programme. The project will promote entrepreneurship by encouraging the creation of new businesses, especially by facilitating the economic exploitation of new entrepreneurial ideas related to blue and green growth. A cross-border system will allow aspiring entrepreneurs and young start-ups to access cross-border services. To this end, a cross-border call for applications will be made, with the beneficiaries being selected based on criteria defined using a joint cross-border methodology. This will define how the cross-border assistance services will be provided that will mobilise accessible scouting, mentoring, coaching and training methodologies, following a series of cross-border sessions and stages, especially using dematerialised tools. This acceleration path will include a comprehensive analysis of the business idea, a cross-border networking event, five group courses, five workshops and individual support. A final cross-border competition will take place to select several companies that will be able to participate for free in an event of international importance. The MARITTIMOTECH + project will be the logical continuation of various projects that have already been launched as part of previous calls, capitalising on them at different levels. This ‘capitalisation’ will initially be achieved by reusing and adapting the tools that have already been developed, mainly the MARITTIMOTECH, Frinet2 and SUCCESS platforms, but also all the documentation and studies carried out. In a second phase, capitalisation will be based on the experience developed by the partnership in offering services to new businesses. (English)
