MIGRA MIÑO - MINHO seeks to improve the protection of the fluvial habitat of the sub-basin of the international stretch of the Miño river, from the Freira reservoir to its mouth, with actions to improve the state of conservation of the river channels and the migratory fish species present in the river and its tributaries. It fits with the axis 3 and the investment priority 6D since it improves the protection and sustainable management of a natural frontier area of high ecological value and that has spaces of the Natura 2000 network. It is necessary a cross border cooperation between the authorities and institutions with competences in the matter for an effective achievement of the results of the project. (English)
