The project is related to the problem of low road infrastructure accessibility and low quality of transport and communication networks which influences the international road traffic and brings the restrictions to the development opportunities in the Programme area. The overall objective of the project is to improve the road accessibility on the Polish-Russian cross-border area and to develop the regional transport and communication networks. Implementation of the project will have a significant positive impact on carrying capacity of the road infrastructure, will improve transport flows and give access to the national and international transport systems. The planned activities include among others the reconstruction and change of the surface of 6 sections of municipal roads with the total length of 5,9 km in Sępopol Commune. In Gurievsk Urban District a reconstruction of the two-lane road along with accompanying infrastructure is planned. The length of the reconstructed section of the road is 2,4 km. The investment also includes: construction of 2 bus stops, construction of rest area, purification of the watercourse and the right river bank of Gurievka river near the bridge. (English)
