The renovation sector must adapt and increase its skills to respond to the new technical and material standards, as well as the increasing demand for more environmental solutions. To achieve overall efficiency in renovation, it is necessary to improve the link and cross-cutting approach between the different stakeholders (design, implementation and building management). The FAI-Re project proposes to respond to these needs via an integrated approach acting on the levers of key actions such as demand, supply and competence. In order to do this, the project aims to set up joint training sessions for construction and renovation stakeholders, and facilitate their networking, as well as training sessions for support stakeholders to promote the exchange of knowledge and methods. The cross-border approach makes it possible to broaden the scope of action by integrating cross-border flows with innovative techniques, know-how or the pooling of support tools. It also enables the clubbing together of means, the multiplication of ideas, the sharing of best practices and the pooling of equipment to bring a more-efficient response to identical challenges.
