Para la realización de este proyecto la tecnología propuesta para la red de acceso de muy alta velocidad es GPON, en un escenario de «Fibra hasta el hogar» (FTTH). Mediante esta tecnología se pretende extender la cobertura a 14 núcleos de población de los siguientes municipios de las provincias de Ávila, León, Burgos y Palencia: Arenas de San Pedro, Arevalo, La Bañeza, Briviesca, Bembibre, Ponferrada, Villablino, Alguilar de Campoo, Venta de baños, Villamuriel de Cerrato.
