En particular, para la realización de este proyecto, Extremadura-2 (Cáceres), la tecnología propuesta para la red de acceso de muy alta velocidad es GPON, en un escenario de fibra hasta el hogar (FTTH). Mediante esta tecnología se pretende extender la cobertura al núcleo de población Arroyo de la Luz del municipio con el mismo nombre de la provincia de Cáceres. El objetivo final es cubrir 4.248 unidades inmobiliarias (UUII) (Spanish)
