O presente projeto pretende focar-se em duas linhas de investigação, diretamente relacionadas entre si, (i) o diagnóstico e (ii) o tratamento de cancros em fase inicial que, através de ensaios clínicos prospetivos, consigam, por um lado, testar novas tecnologias de diagnóstico, com maior precisão, e, por outro, demonstrar qual o tratamento mais adequado, mais eficaz e com menor custo associado. This project aims to focus on two lines of research, which are directly related to each other, (i) the diagnosis and (ii) the treatment of early-stage cancers which, through prospective clinical trials, will be able, on the one hand, to test new diagnostic technologies with greater precision, and, on the other, to demonstrate which treatment is most appropriate, most effective and at the lowest cost associated.
