La presente propuesta tiene como fin la adquisición de material para incrementar la investigacióny proceder a la externalización de los servicios del Laboratorio de Arqueometría ¿Antonio Arribas Palau¿, adscrito al Dpto. de Prehistoria y Arqueología, un espacio consolidado que actualmente se encuentra copado de investigadores y que cuenta con una alta presencia de PYMES (empresas destinadas a la Gestión del Patrimonio, fundamentalmente). Así, se quieren realizar nuevas inversiones en un espacio en el que la demanda de servicios supera la oferta de infraestructuras habilitadas para el mismo. Por otro, queremos que la investigación tenga un mayor impacto a través de la implementación de nuevas técnicas de estudio en Prehistoria y Arqueología._x000D_ Los campos de conocimiento que se quieren reforzar son los estudios centrados en Metalurgia y Minería -y artefactos afines- y, por otro, en artefactos cerámicos, materiales de construcción y la Micromorfología de Suelos. Para ello, consideramos necesario la adquisición de equipamiento que nos permita una caracterización de las materias primas a distintos niveles: química, mineralógica y la determinación de macrotrazas, entendidas éstas como marcas de producción y de uso de los artefactos._x000D_ Para la consecución de estos objetivos, que procurarán un mayor impacto, internacionalización y un incremento de la productividadcientíficade los estudios arqueométricos, será necesaria la adquisición de un analizador portátil de Fluorescencia de Rayos (Spanish)

The purpose of this proposal is to acquire material to increase research and outsource the services of the Laboratory of Archeometry 'Antonio Arribas Palau', Dept. of Prehistory and Archeology, a consolidated space that is fully and that it has a high presence of SMEs (companies destined to the Management of the Patrimony, fundamentally). Thus, we want to make new investments in a space in which the demand of services exceeds the supply of infrastructures enabled for it. On the other, we want to increase the research impact through the implementation of new study techniques in Prehistory and Archeology._x000D_ The fields of knowledge that are to be reinforced are the studies focused on Metallurgy and Mining - and related artifacts - and, on the other hand, on ceramic artifacts, construction materials and Soil Micromorphology. For this, we consider necessary the acquisition of equipment that allows us to characterize the raw materials at different levels: chemical, mineralogical and the determination of macrotraces, understood as brands of production and use of the artifacts._x000D_ To achieve these objectives, which will look for greater impact, internationalization and an increase in the scientific productivity of the archaeometric studies, it will be necessary to acquire a portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer, an FTIR spectrometer with ATR module, an automatic microdurometer, a microscope Two-user petrography with camera for the acquisition of microphotographs, single-user petrographic (English)
