Cieľom projektu je zlepšenie odvádzania a čistenia komunálnych odpadových vôd v aglomerácii Tornaľa a mestskej časti Starňa. Aglomerácia Tornaľa je zaradená v Prílohe č. 7 Výzvy a nie je v súlade s požiadavkami vyplývajúcimi zo smernice Rady 91/271/EHS.V rámci projektu bude dobudovaná kanalizačná sieť v meste Tornaľa, vybudovaná kanalizačná sieť v mestskej časti Starňa s odvedením odpadových vôd do novovybudovanej čistiarni odpadových vôd v Tornali. Ciele projektu budú zabezpečené prostredníctvom 2 hlavných aktivít projektu a to:1. Stoková sieť2. Čistiareň odpadových vôdV meste Tornaľa bude vybudovaná nová čistiareň odpadových vôd s kapacitou 7450 EO. Celková dĺžka novovybudovaqných kanalizačných sietí bude 21,775 km. (Slovak)

The aim of the project is to improve the collection and treatment of urban waste water in the agglomeration of Tornaľa and the city district of Starňa. The agglomeration of Tornaľa is included in Annex 7 Challenges and does not comply with the requirements of Council Directive 91/271/EEC.The project will complete the sewerage network in Tornaľa, built a sewerage network in the municipality of Starňa with the draining of waste water to the newly built waste water treatment plant in Tornala. The objectives of the project will be ensured through 2 main activities of the project, namely:1. Sewer network2. Wastewater treatment plantIn Tornaľa, a new waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 7450 EO will be built. The total length of the newly built sewerage networks will be 21.775 km. (English)

L’objectif du projet est d’améliorer la collecte et le traitement des eaux urbaines résiduaires dans l’agglomération de Torna’a et dans le quartier de Starňa. L’agglomération de Torna’a figure à l’annexe 7 Défis et n’est pas conforme aux exigences de la directive 91/271/CEE du Conseil. Le projet complétera le réseau d’assainissement de Torna’a, a construit un réseau d’assainissement dans la commune de Starňa avec l’évacuation des eaux usées vers la station d’épuration des eaux usées nouvellement construite à Tornala. Les objectifs du projet seront assurés par le biais de deux activités principales du projet, à savoir: 1. Réseau d’égouts2. L’usine de traitement des eaux usées Torna’a, une nouvelle station de traitement des eaux usées d’une capacité de 7450 EO, sera construite. La longueur totale des réseaux d’assainissement nouvellement construits sera de 21,775 km. (French)
