Η πράξη αφορά στην προμήθεια ιατροτεχνολογικού εξοπλισμού για τις ανάγκες της Χειρουργικής Κλινικής Καρδιάς - Θώρακα του Π.Γ.Ν.Αλεξανδρούπολης. Η εν λόγω προμήθεια πρόκειται να καλύψει τις ανάγκες αναβάθμισης του εξοπλισμού της προαναφερθείσας κλινικής, η οποία με τη σειρά της καλύπτει τις ανάγκες του πληθυσμού της ευρύτερης περιφέρειας Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας - Θράκης, τόσο σε έκτακτα όσο και σε προγραμματισμένα περιστατικά.
