Projekt realizuje vybrané části Záchranného programu pro perlorodku říční v ČR schváleného 18.12.2013 Ministerstvem ŽP a SDO pro EVL Šumava. Hlavním cílem projektu je posílit a stabilizovat stávající populaci perlorodky říční v úseku povodí Vltavy nad Lipenskou vodní nádrží. Jedná se o zvláště chráněný druh živočicha dle vyhlášky č. 395/1992 Sb. zákona č. 114/1992 Sb., je klasifikován jako druh kriticky ohrožený, evropsky významný. Byl zařazen mezi předměty ochrany EVL Šumava CZ0314024. (Czech)

The project implements selected parts of the Rescue Programme for River Pearl in the Czech Republic approved by the Ministry of the RU and SDO for EVL Šumava. The main objective of the project is to strengthen and stabilise the current population of the river perlorod in the section of the Vltava river basin above Lipenská water reservoir. It is a specially protected species of animal according to Decree No. 395/1992 Coll. of Act No. 114/1992 Coll., is classified as a species critically endangered, Europeanly significant. It was included in the protection of EVL Šumava CZ0314024. (English)
