The purpose of the Agron RRI project is to develop a product that can in an innovative way analyse the nutrients and pollutants in the soil from the air using drones and draw up an action plan for the farmer (selective fertilisation plan). An important innovation and the advantage of such analyses will be that we will not get average values of nutrients that represent the total agricultural area, but will be limited to 40 square centimetres of land. Such precision is essential for existing and upcoming precision farming technologies that can achieve positive objectives: increase yields on the fields by 30-40 %; reduce pollution from excessive fertilisation of agricultural land by more than 50 %.
