Afin de désenclaver le quartier prioritaire politique de la ville Près Saint Jean - Cévennes - Tamaris - Cauvel-la Royale - Rochebelle - Centre ville (QPV 300001), le projet consiste en la réalisation d'une voie verte/piste cyclable, sur les quais rive droite du Gardon, comprenant les quartiers du Faubourg du Soleil, de Rochebelle, La Royale ainsi que celui de Cauvel. L'aménagement de cette voie verte améliorera l'accès aux transports collectifs, créant ainsi un lien direct entre les quartiers concernés par l'opération, les équipements qu'ils contiennent (écoles, pôle scientifique et culturel de Rochebelle, mine Témoin) et le cœur de ville. In order to unlock the priority political district of the city near Saint Jean — Cévennes — Tamaris — Cauvel-la Royale — Rochebelle — Centre ville (QPV 300001), the project consists of the construction of a green/cyclable pathway, on the right bank of the Gardon, including the districts of Faubourg du Soleil, Rochebelle, La Royale and Cauvel. The development of this green road will improve access to public transport, thus creating a direct link between the districts concerned by the operation, the facilities they contain (schools, Rochebelle’s scientific and cultural centre, the Témoin mine) and the heart of the city.
