Le projet de construction d’une passerelle dans le cadre du PEM de la gare de Laval, faisant l'objet d'une demande FEDER est porté par La ville de Laval. L’opération consiste à déconstruire la passerelle existante, réaliser de nouvelles fondations puis mettre en place une nouvelle passerelle. Le projet vise donc à améliorer le traitement du franchissement des voies ferrées et l’accessibilité des personnes à mobilité réduite (PMR) et a pour fonction d’assurer l’accès sur le quai mais aussi d’assurer la connexion urbaine entre les quartiers qui se trouvent au sud et au nord de la gare. La passerelle contribue à un report modal significatif dans le cadre du PEM en facilitant les flux modes doux (piétons cycles) et le cheminement des voyageurs vers les différents modes de transports. Il répond ainsi à terme aux enjeux de mobilité urbaine multimodale durable. (French)

The project to build a bridge under the MEP of Laval station, which is the subject of a ERDF application, is being carried out by La Ville de Laval. The operation consists of deconstructing the existing bridge, building new foundations and setting up a new bridge. The aim of the project is therefore to improve the treatment of railway crossings and the accessibility of persons with reduced mobility (PMR) and has the function of ensuring access to the platform, as well as the urban connection between the neighbourhoods in the south and north of the station. The gateway contributes to a significant modal shift within the EMP by facilitating smooth mode flows (pietons cycles) and traveling passengers to the different modes of transport. It thus ultimately responds to the challenges of sustainable multimodal urban mobility. (English)
