As pessoas LGBT, têm necessidades específicas ao nível da saúde, sendo frequentemente vítimas de discriminação. Numa abordagem multidisciplinar, a formação tem como objetivos incrementar conhecimentos e competências de profissionais de saúde em orientação sexual e identidade de género sensibilizar para a não discriminação promover práticas adequadas para os melhores cuidados. In a multidisciplinary approach, training aims to increase knowledge and competencies of health professionals in sexual orientation and gender identity to raise awareness of non-discrimination to promote appropriate practices for best care.
