CERIT-SC je výzkumná infrastruktura poskytující vědecké komunitě flexibilní výpočetní kapacity a datová úložiště. Stojí na 3 pilířích - dostatečně rozsáhlý hardware, cílený výzkum ve vybraných oblastech informatiky a dlouhodobá spolupráce s uživateli.Cíle tohoto projektu jsou opětovně posunout centrum na technologickou špičku (investicemi do hardware) a posílit výzkum v kritických oblastech velkých dat a intenzivních výpočtů, tedy know-how potřebného k efektivnímu využití hardwarových zdrojů. a.
