    Investigación de un nuevo proceso de tratamiento de mecanizado en duro, es decir, realizado antes de los tratamientos térmicos propios del proceso de automatizado pulvimetalúrgico, capaz de proporcionar valores mínimos de rugosidad, concretamente, de 4,5 micras con capacidad estadística, en la zona de la acanaladura de la horquilla de manguitos desplazables pulvimetalúrgicos._x000D_ Se pretende adquirir nuevos conocimientos sobre técnicas especializadas de acabado y herramientas de corte en el sector pulvimetalúrgico, de modo que se pueda mejorar considerablemente la rugosidad obtenidas en una zona crítica del manguito desplazables (acanaladura de la horquilla), pieza clave en el conjunto sincronizador y por tanto en la función de la caja de cambio del automovil.     Research into a new process of hard machining treatment i.e one made before heat treatments in the automated powder metallurgy process and able to provide minimum roughness values, more specifically 4.5 microns with statistical power, in the zone of the fork groove for the sliding powder metallurgical sleeves._x000D_ The aim is to acquire new knowledge on specialised finishing techniques and cutting tools in the powder metallurgy sector, so that significant improvement can be made in the roughness obtained in a critical zone of the sliding sleeves (fork groove), a key piece in the synchroniser unit, and therefore in the functioning of the vehicle¿s gearbox.
