Con esta solicitud perseguimos dos objetivos en la Unidad Análisis de Biomoléculas del Servicio Central de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (SCICT): a) la Renovación de equipamiento obsoleto y desfasado; b) la mejora y actualización de equipos para implementarla oferta de técnicas que se ofrece a la Docencia e Investigación en la UCA. El equipamiento que se solicita permitiría la renovación del equipo de análisis genéticos ya descatalogado, la actualización del módulo de captura y de posicionamiento de la microscopía confocal y la implementación de las capacidades de análisis de la expresión genética que actualmente ofrecemos a la comunidad científica y educativa de la UCA. La propuesta pretende dar respuesta a la demanda creciente por estas técnicas de los investigadores en áreas como la Biomedicina, la Acuicultura, la Agroalimentación, el Medio Ambiente y la Enología. El equipamiento solicitado se prevé tenga una repercusión directa en la calidad de la investigación y la producción científica de investigadores, tanto de la UCA como de otros centros de investigación de su entorno, favoreciendo al mismo tiempo la relación con empresas y el desarrollo económico de una región litoral con una alta tasa de desempleo como es la provincia de Cádiz. Todo ello contribuirá sin duda a mejorar los indicadores de la Universidad de Cádiz y de centros de investigación de su entorno. (Spanish)

With this application we pursue two objectives in the Biomolecules Analysis Unit of the Central Service for Scientific and Technological Research (SCICT): a) Renewing obsolete and outdated equipment; b) the improvement and upgrade of equipment to implement the offer of techniques that it offers to the Education and Researchn in the UCA. The equipment that is requested would already allow the renovation of the equipment of genetic analysis out of order, the upgrade of the capture module and of positioning of the confocal microscopy and the implementation of the capacities of analysis of the genetic expression that at the moment offer to the scientific and educational community of the UCA. The proposal seeks to give answer to the growing demand for these techniques of the investigators in areas like the Biomedicine, the Aquaculture, the Agrofood, the Environment and the Enology. The requested equipment is expected has a direct repercussion in the quality of the investigation and the scientific production of investigators, so much of the UCA as of other centers of investigation of its environment, favoring the relationship at the same time with companies and the economic development of a coast region with a discharge unemployment rate like it is the county of Cádiz. Everything will contribute it without a doubt to improve the indicators of the University of Cádiz and of centers of investigation of their environment as the ICMA (CSIC), or the IFA (English)
