In this project, the acquisition of various equipment focused on the analysis of chemical and microbiological parameters for the control of pollution in environmental and food matrices is proposed. On the one hand, it will benefit the implementation of the WFD 2000/60/EC and the Marine Strategy 2008/56/EC, since the control of pollution in the waters of Galician coasts, its toxic effects and transfer on the marine environment are of vital importance given the wealth of marine resources of this community, since the commercialisation of sea products and derivatives is an important source of income. In addition, they will be of great importance in the agri-food sector, as they will allow rapid analysis of micro-organisms and mercury in food-related samples and respond to food security programmes such as gmp-Galis.
