Municipiul Alba Iulia constituie depozitarul bimilenar al unui vast patrimoniu arhitectonic cultural şi istoric (www.inmi.ro şi www.cimec.ro), de importanta nationala si internationala potentand dezvoltarea atat a orasului in sine cat si a intregii zone urbane functionale limitrofe.Investitiile realizate in perioada de programare 2007-2013 au creat premisele unei dinamici locale care fundamenteaza si traseaza liniile directoare pentru urmatoarea etapa,in jurul a patru obiective strategice precum:1.Alba Iulia–un oras inteligent,accesibil si coerent,2.Alba Iulia–un oras verde,cu servicii publice eficiente,3.Alba Iulia–un oras competitiv si creativ,4.Alba Iulia–un obiectiv cultural si turistic european.In consens cu obiectivele strategice ale orasului se propune realizarea de proiecte care se subsumeaza viziunii Municipiului Alba Iulia „pana in anul 2020 sa devina un oraas mai atractiv pentru locuit si investistii”.In acest context Proiectul CONSERVAREA,RESTAURAREA SI VALORIFICAREA DURABILA A ANSAMBLULUI PALATULUI PRINCIPILOR DIN ALBA-IULIA-CENTRU EXPOZITIONAL CORP PRINCIPAL E se incadreaza unei logici de interventie care va contribui la atingerea Obiectivului general:conservarea, protejarea si valorificarea patrimoniului cultural si a identitatii culturale in vederea impulsionarii dezvoltarii locale pe criterii durabile si competitive.Proiectul CONSERVAREA,RESTAURAREA SI VALORIFICAREA DURABILA A ANSAMBLULUI PALATULUI PRINCIPILOR DIN ALBA-IULIA-CENTRU EXPOZITIONAL CORP PRINCIPAL E propune realizarea unei investitii locale care genereaza un impact regional,national si european,prin punerea in valoare a unui monument istoric,de clasa A,inclus in lista monumentelor istorice 2015,din judetul Alba la pozitia 253,cod:AB-II-m-B-00133 cu denumirea de Palatul Principilor,azi Cercul Militar.Palatul este situat in Situl urban “Cetatea Alba Iulia”, cod LMI 2015:AB-II-s-A-00091 si incadrat in zona de protectie a altor ansambluri si monumente istorice clasa A din apropiere.Palatul Principilor este un complex arhitectonic important,situat in ansamblul mai larg al Cetatii Alba Iulia.Istoria evolutiei palatului cuprinde foarte multe etape de constructie–epoca romana,medievala,renastere,baroc,sec. al XIX-lea si sec. al XX-lea - refaceri,distrugeri si refunctionalizari,racordandu-se concomitent la vecinatatile urbanistice.Caracterul specific al Palatului Principilor rezulta din valoarea sa ca element de patrimoniu istoric si cultural de valoare nationala si internationala,din rolul sau istoric,din functiunile si simbolistica detinuta de-a lungul epocilor istoriei,precum si din unicitatea elementelor arhitecturale si de arta pe care le detine.Dintre acestea amintim:•Sediu al Capitlului Episcopiei Romano – Catolice din Transilvania;•Sediu al principilor Transilvaniei intre 1542-1699,spatiu politic de nivel european;•Locul in care s-au luat decizii importante,care au marcat nu doar destinul Transilvaniei si al celorlalte doua tari romane,dar si destinele unor puteri eur (Romanian)

The city of Alba Iulia is the bimileary depository of a vast cultural and historical architectural heritage (www.inmi.ro and www.cimec.ro), of national and international importance, enhancing the development of both the city itself and the entire functional urban area bordering. The investments made in the 2007-2013 programming period have created the prerequisites for a local dynamic that underpins and outlines the guidelines for the next stage, around four strategic objectives precum:1.Alba Iulia-a smart city, accessible and coherent,2.Alba Iulia-a green city, with efficient public services,3.Alba Iulia-a competitive and creative city,4.Alba Iulia-a European cultural and touristic objective.In agreement with the strategic objectives of the city, it is proposed to realise projects that are subsumed by the vision of Alba Iulia “by 2020 to become a more attractive city for living and investing”.In this context, CONSERVAREA Project, the DURABLE OF THE ANSAMBL OF PRINCIPAL CORP PRINCIPAL E PRINCIPAL CORP PRINCIPAL E PRINCIPAL ASSAMBLING OF THE PRINCIPAL ASSAMBLING OF THE PRINCIPAL OF ALBA-YULIA-CENTRU E frames a logic of intervention that will contribute to achieving the objective of general:conservarea, protecting and capitalising on cultural heritage and cultural identity in order to boost local development on sustainable and competitive criteria. RESTAURATION AND VALORIFICATION OF THE ANSAMBL OF the PURPOSE OF ALBA-IULIA-CENTRU exhibition CORP PRINCIPAL E proposes the realisation of a local investment that generates a regional, national and European impact, by highlighting a historical monument, class A, included in the list of historical monuments 2015, from Alba County at 253 position, under the name of the Princes Palace, today the Military Circle.The Palace is located in the Urban Site “Alba Iulia Fortress”, LMI code 2015:AB-II-s-A-00091 and framed in the protection area of other historical ensembles and monuments class A nearby.The Principle Palace is an important architectural complex, located in the wider ensemble of Alba Iulia Fortress.The history of the palace’s evolution comprises many stages of construction – the Romanian era, the mediavala, the rebirth, the Baroque, the 19th and the 20th centuries – restorations, destructions and refunctionalisations, concurrently with the urban neighbourhoods. The specific feature of the Palace of Principles results from its value as an element of historical and cultural heritage of national and international value, from his historical role, from the functions and symbolism held throughout the ages of history, as well as from the uniqueness of the architectural and art elements he possesses. Among these we mention:•Sedium of the Head of the Romanian-Catholic Bishopric of Transylvania;•Sedium of the princes of Transylvania between 1542-1699, political space of European level;•The place where important decisions were taken, which marked not only the destiny of Transylvania and the other two Romanian countries, but also the destinies of some Eur powers (English)
