(Romanian)

The project is consistent with specific objective 9.1 of the LIOP: Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis by providing for the provision of medical equipment that will enable the health crisis to be managed much more efficiently, ensuring a prompt response to the fight against the coronavirus. As a result of the implementation of the project, the Hospital will have an improved capacity to respond to patients’ demands and at the same time ensure the protection of medical personnel. Currently, the Hospital faces a number of difficulties in managing this crisis, which are due to the lack of equipment necessary for rapid diagnosis and treatment of patients and insufficient funds to allow the acquisition of facilities. The medical equipment that will be purchased will be used to treat COVID-19 cases and prevent the spread of the disease, thus contributing to the LIOP indicator Appropriate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management. In the current context, taking into account the latest developments of the COVID-19 outbreak, it is evident that non-refundable funding is essential to ensure the ability of Pucioasa City Hospital to respond to the issues raised by the COVID-19 crisis, to be able to treat SARS-CoV-2 infected patients and to ensure an adequate level of protection of medical personnel and prevention of the spread of the disease. As a result of the implementation of the project, the care and treatment capacity will be significantly improved. (English)
