Prin acest proiect se va continua reabilitarea sitului poluat istoric de 30 ha (13,5 ha faza I și 16,5 ha faza II) până la standarde de curățire acceptate, constând în protejarea apelor de suprafață și aducerea terenului la un standard corespunzător pentru a putea fi utilizat ca zonă verde, pentru a include zone dedicate plantării, precum și pentru a soluționa orice impact adus asupra mediului local de activitatea anterioară din cadrul sitului. Obiectivul general al proiectului coincide cu Obiectivul specific 4.3.- Reducerea siturilor poluate istoric, a Axei prioritare 4., ce vizează promovarea investițiilor care contribuie la diminuarea riscului existent pentru sănătatea umană și mediu. Conform Strategiei și Planului național de acțiune pentru gestionarea siturilor contaminate, obiectivul specific al proiectului reprezintă una dintre aspectele fundamentale ale protecției mediului în cadrul procesului de armonizare a politicilor naționale cu cele ale Uniunii Europene. This project will continue the rehabilitation of the historically polluted site of 30 ha (13.5 ha phase I and 16.5 ha phase II) up to accepted cleaning standards, consisting of protecting surface waters and bringing the land to an appropriate standard to be used as a green zone, to include areas dedicated to planting, as well as to address any impact on the local environment brought by the previous activity within the site. The general objective of the project coincides with Specific Objective 4.3.- Reduction of historically polluted sites, Priority Axis 4., aimed at promoting investments that contribute to reducing the risk to human health and the environment. According to the National Strategy and Action Plan for the management of contaminated sites, the specific objective of the project is one of the fundamental aspects of environmental protection in the process of harmonising national policies with those of the European Union.
