SIAPLAST SNC HAS BEEN OPERATING FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS IN THE AREA OF THE STAMPING AND TREATMENT OF PLASTICS AND RELATED PRODUCTS AND, AS A RESULT OF AN ANALYSIS OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION, IT HAS ASSESSED THE NEED TO ADAPT THE STRUCTURE TO NEW TECHNOLOGIES TO LIMIT ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS. THE COMPANY CURRENTLY HAS AS THE PRIMARY CARRIER ONLY ELECTRICITY THAT FEEDS MACHINERY OF PRODUCTION AND GENERAL AUXILIARY SERVICES, INCLUDING OFFICE SPACE (THE LABORATORY IS NOT HEATED). THE PLANNED INTERVENTION CONSISTS OF THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY PRESS FOR MOULDING, ENSURING LESS ELECTRIC ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND THE INCREASE OF PRODUTTIVITA ', THUS REDUCING SPECIFIC CONSUMPTION.
