    Předmětem předkládaného projektu je pilotní projekt časného záchytu diabetické retinopatie a makulárního edému ve skupině diabetiků 1. nebo 2. typu v péči dispenzarizujících lékařů. Jde o projekt zaměřený na jasně definovanou populaci osob s diabetem. Cílem projektu je časný záchyt diabetické retinopatie a makulárního edému pomocí non-mydriatické funduskamery vedoucí ke snížení rizika její progrese a minimalizaci rizika ztráty zraku, zachování soběstačnosti a přijatelné kvality života nemocných.
