Przedmiotem projektu jest zakup infrastruktury badawczo rozwojowej. Jest ona niezbedna do rozwoju innowacyjnego osrodka badan klinicznych, do prowadzenia badan naukowych w zakresie kardiologii i okulistyki oraz do zbierania pełnych i rzetelnych danych epidemiologicznych. Pełna współpraca obszarów kariologicznookulistycznych, kardiologicznoonkologicznych, kardiologicznodiabetologicznookulistycznych pozwoli na stworzenie spójnego i kompleksowego modelu leczenia wszelkich zaburzen chorobowych w ww obszarach medycyny. W ramach projektu zostanie zakupiona aparatura: aparat ultrasonograficzny z funkcja echokardiografii, elektrokardiograf, aparat do ambulatoryjnego monitorowania cisnienia tetniczego krwi, aparat do ambulatoryjnego monitorowania zapisu elektrokardiograficznej pracy serca, aparat do przeprowadzenia testu wysiłkowego na biezni ruchomej, biomikroskop, autorefraktometr, laser NdYag. Rezultatem realizacji projektu bedzie możliwość szybkiego uzyskania wyników badan diagnostycznych i wykrywanie powikłan kardiologicznych. Szczególną zaletą dostepnosci wysokospecjalistycznego sprzetu będzie skrócenie czasu oczekiwania na wykonanie badań oraz wcześniejsza możliwość podjęcia odpowiedniego leczenia dla pacjentów. Uzyskane w ten sposób wyniki pozwolą na analizę danych jednostek chorobowych w ujęciu epidemiologicznym i na stworzenie wytycznych dla pacjenta w formie broszur informacyjnych, artykułu w lokalnych periodykach. Edukacja w zakresie postepowania w okreslonych przypadkach i schorzeniach kardiologicznych, dostepności i mozliwych badaniach, terapiach i optymalnej opiece nad pacjentem, znaczaco przełozy sie na poprawę stanu zdrowia społeczenstwa. Zrozumienie czynników ryzyka chorób sercowonaczyniowych jest kluczowe nie tylko w poprawie zdrowia, ale i jakosci zycia. W efekcie badan klinicznych nastapi rozwój nowoczesnych terapii i leków umozliwiajacych leczenie i zahamowanie wskazanych chorób. (Polish)

The subject of the project is the purchase of research infrastructure for development. It is necessary for the development of an innovative centre of clinical trials, for conducting scientific research in the field of cardiology and ophthalmology, and for the collection of complete and reliable epidemiological data. Full cooperation of cariological, cardio-ophthalmic, cardiological, cardiac and ophthalmological areas will allow for the creation of a coherent and comprehensive treatment model for all diseases in the areas of medicine. Within the framework of the project, apparatus will be purchased: ultrasound camera with echocardiography function, electrocardiograph, outpatient blood pressure monitoring apparatus, outpatient monitoring apparatus for electrocardiographic recording of heart function, apparatus for performing an exercise test on movable lesions, biomicroscope, autoretrophometer, NdYag laser. The result of the project will be the possibility to quickly obtain the results of diagnostic tests and detect cardiac complications. A particular advantage of the availability of high-special equipment will be the shortening of the waiting time for testing and the earlier possibility of taking appropriate treatment for patients. The results obtained in this way will allow to analyse the data of disease units in epidemiological terms and to create guidelines for patients in the form of information brochures, article in local periodicals. Education in certain cases and cardiac diseases, availability and possible research, therapy and optimal care of the patient will translate significantly into improving the health of society. Understanding cardiovascular risk factors is crucial not only in improving health but also in the quality of life. As a result, clinical trials will lead to the development of modern therapies and drugs enabling the treatment and inhibition of the specified diseases. (English)
