Uzależnienia są bardzo istotnym społecznie problemem, dotykającym około 9% społeczeństwa. Co roku z terapii uzależnień korzysta w Polsce około 350 000 osób, w USA 3,1 mln, w UK 627 000. Badania pokazują, że średnio 65% z tych ludzi wraca do uzależnienia w ciągu 2 lat po zakończeniu terapii. W każdym przypadku nawrót jest dramatem uzależnionego oraz jego bliskich. W wielu przypadkach kończy się śmiercią. Spółka PredictWatch zajmuje się rozwijaniem technologii pomiarów ludzkiego zachowania w kontekście uzależnień oraz opracowywaniem metod analizy danych dotyczących codziennego funkcjonowania osób uzależnionych w celu trafnej predykcji nasilenia głodu nałogowego oraz skutecznej redukcji ryzyka nawrotu do uzależnienia. W ramach tego projektu chcemy wprowadzić na rynek polski i anglojęzyczny (USA i UE) 3 innowacyjne produkty/usługi: PredictWatch Guardian – usługę dedykowaną dla osób uzależnionych pragnących utrzymać abstynencję, działającą na urządzeniach typu smartphone i smartwatch w postaci aplikacji mobilnej. Aplikacja ta pozwala na zbieranie danych o codziennym funkcjonowaniu użytkownika oraz przewidywaniu głodu nałogowego (najsilniejszego predyktora nawrotu) i proponowaniu interwencji redukujących ten głód w celu uniknięcia nawrotu do uzależnienia. PredictWatch Connector – bardzo precyzyjnie targetowana usługa dedykowana dla psychoterapeutów, pozwalajaca im na dotarcie ze specjalistyczna ofertą do użyrktkowników poszukujących/potrzebujących takiej pomocy. PredictWatch Researcher – usługa dedykowana dla naukowców, chcących wykorzystać w swoich badaniach innowacyjne metody pomiaru zachowania opracowane na potrzeby aplikacji PredictWatch Guardian. Każda z usług odpowiada na konkretną bardzo dobrze zdefiniowaną (w toku niemal 10 lat pracy w tych środowiskach) potrzebę oferując innowacyjną na skalę światową wartość. Dobre wieloletniego doświadczenia eksperckiego i młodzieńczej pasji w zespole PredictWatch gwarantuje skuteczna realizację celów projektu. (Polish)

Addiction is a very important social problem affecting around 9 % of the population. Every year, about 350,000 people use drug therapy in Poland, in the USA 3.1 million, in the UK 627,000. Studies show that, on average, 65 % of these people return to addiction within 2 years after the end of therapy. In any case, recurrence is the drama of the addict and his loved ones. In many cases, it ends in death. PredictWatch develops technology for measuring human behaviour in the context of addictions and develops methods of analysing data on the daily functioning of addicts in order to accurately predict the increase of compulsive hunger and effectively reduce the risk of relapse into addiction. As part of this project, we want to introduce 3 innovative products/services to the Polish and English-speaking markets (US and EU): PredictWatch Guardian – a service dedicated to addicts who want to maintain abstinence, operating on smartphones and smartphones in the form of a mobile application. This application allows you to collect data on the everyday functioning of the user and predict compulsive hunger (the strongest predictor of relapse) and propose interventions to reduce this hunger in order to avoid recurrence to addiction. PredictWatch Connector – a very precisely targeted service dedicated to psychotherapists, allowing them to reach with a specialised offer to users looking for/needing such help. PredictWatch Researcher – a service dedicated to scientists who want to use innovative behavior measurement methods developed for PredictWatch Guardian in their research. Each service responds to a specific, well-defined (almost 10 years of work in these environments) need to offer innovative global value. Good years of expert experience and youthful passion in the PredictWatch team guarantees effective realisation of the objectives of the project. (English)
