Projekt komplexně řeší protipovodňová opatření na území obce Plav. Obec je často ohrožována rozsáhlými povodněmi, jejichž zdrojem je řeka Malše. V roce 2002 postihla Plav ničivá povodeň, další v roce 2013. Plav nemá zajištěnou ochranu před povodněmi, chybí povodňový plán a lokální varovný systém je neúplný. V rámci projektu bude zpracován digitální povodňový plán, nainstalována vodoměrná stanice, dvě vodočetné latě a doplněna síť bezdrátového vyrozumívacího a varovného systému. (Czech)

The project is comprehensively addressed by flooding measures in the municipality of Plav. The village is often threatened by large floods, the source of which is the Malše River. In 2002, there was a destructive flood, another in 2013. There is no protection against floods, there is no flood plan and the local warning system is incomplete. As part of the project, a digital flood plan will be processed, a water-measurement station installed, two water counts and a network of wireless communication and warning systems will be added.
