Celem prac badawczych planowanych do przeprowadzenia w projekcie jest opracowanie technologii nowego produktu jakim będzie innowacyjny niestosowany dotąd system bezpieczeństwa gwarantujący znaczne podwyższenie bezpieczeństwa w ruchu drogowo-pieszym. W odniesieniu do najlepszych w skali świata rozwiązań w tym zakresie przygotowywane produkty będą w stanie zaoferować nowe innowacyjne funkcjonalności. Po zabudowaniu na pojazdach tak komunikacji miejskiej, lokalnej, międzymiastowej jak również na pojazdach wielkogabarytowych (pojazdy służb miejskich), ciągnikach siodłowych i samochodach ciężarowych umożliwią przede wszystkim: • Poprawę warunków bezpieczeństwa pieszych podczas przechodzenia przez jezdnię w miejscach bez oznaczonych przejść drogowych jak również w miejscach o ograniczonej widoczności, • Znaczną poprawę bezpieczeństwa kierowców poprzez ograniczenie ryzyka wypadku i możliwości potrącenia pieszych wychodzących zza wielkogabarytowych pojazdów w tym autobusów, ciężarówek itp. The aim of the research work to be carried out in the project is to develop a new product technology, which will be an innovative safety system not yet used to guarantee a significant increase in road and traffic safety. With regard to the world’s best solutions in this area, the products will be able to offer new innovative functionalities. When built on vehicles such as urban, local, interurban and large-scale vehicles (urban service vehicles), tractors and trucks, will make it possible in particular to: • Improve the safety of pedestrians when crossing the road in places without marked road crossings as well as in areas with reduced visibility, • Significant improvements in the safety of drivers by reducing the risk of accidents and the possibility of passing pedestrians from behind large vehicles including buses, trucks, etc. (English)
