Realizací nápravných opatření dojde k eliminaci zdravotních a ekologických rizik vyplývajících existence povrchových dehtových jezírek, jejich kontaminovaného podloží a migrace znečištění do podzemních vod. The territory of Haldy Poldi is one of the biggest and most risky environmental burdens throughout the Czech Republic. The project aims at the remediation of tar ponds and their surroundings and subsoil. The primary contaminants are tars and mixtures containing high levels of PAH, hydrocarbons C10-40, phenols and BTEX. The implementation of corrective measures will eliminate the health and environmental risks of the existence of surface tar ponds, their contaminated subsoil and the migration of pollution into groundwater.
