Projekt zakłada kompleksową przebudowę oraz adaptację zdegradowanego budynku przy ul.Krakowskiej 34 w celu utworzenia Centrum Aktywności Obywatelskiej (CAO), w którym prowadzony będzie hostel, świetlica środowiskowa, punkt konsultacyjno-informacyjny oraz magazyn ubrań, jako elementu rozbudowy infrastruktury usług społecznych świadczonych na terenie miasta Częstochowy. Uzupełnieniem dla projektu będą działania realizowane oraz planowane do realizacji w ramach projektów dofinansowanych w ramach Europejskiego Funduszu Społecznego. Potrzeba realizacji projektu wynika z analizy problemów społecznych zdiagnozowanych w Strategii Regionalnych Inwestycji Terytorialnych dla Subregionu Północnego Województwa Śląskiego. Projekt wpisuje się m. in. w Strategię Rozwiązywania Problemów Społecznych Miasta Częstochowy na lata 2014-2020 oraz program osłony na rzecz osób bezdomnych i zagrożonych bezdomnością na terenie m. Częstochowy w latach 2014-2020. (Polish)

The project consists of a comprehensive reconstruction and an adaptation of a degraded building with ul.Krakowska 34 in order to set up the Civil Activity Centre (CAO), which will host a host centre, a community centre, a consultative/information point and a magazine for clothing, as part of the expansion of the infrastructure of social services in the city of Czestochowa. The project will be complemented by actions carried out and planned to be implemented through projects funded under the European Social Fund. The need to implement the project results from an analysis of the social problems identified in the Regional Investment Strategy for the Sub-region of the North Region. The project is in line with, inter alia, a Strategy for the resolution of the Social Problems of Czestochowa City 2014-2020 and a programme for housing for homeless people who are at risk of homelessness in the 2014-2020 period.
