Obsahem projektu je přestavba stávající úrovňové průsečné křižovatky silnic II/141 a II/145 poblíž Prachatic na křižovatku okružní. Nová křižovatka umožní zejména snížení rychlosti průjezdu vozidel, vyšší plynulost dopravy a z toho vyplývající zvýšení bezpečnosti dopravy v řešeném úseku silnic II. třídy na silniční síti Jihočeského kraje.
