Faza II – Budowa przystanków Gdynia Karwiny i Gdynia Stadion, roboty/usługi planowane do wykonania w ramach POIiŚ 2014 -2020. Na odcinku linii kolejowej nr 201 zostaną wybudowane przystanki Gdynia Karwiny oraz Gdynia Stadion. W wyniku realizowanej inwestycji planowane jest uruchomienie regularnej relacji kolejowej Gdańsk Główny – Port Lotniczy Gdańsk – Gdynia Główna. Powyższe połączenie kolejowe poprowadzone zostanie linią E65 (teren Gdańska), powstającą infrastrukturą PKM (Gdańsk i Gmina Żukowo) oraz linią 201 (Gdańsk i Gdynia). Istniejąca w chwili obecnej infrastruktura kolejowa na linii 201 na odcinku od włączenia infrastruktury PKM do Gdyni Głównej ze względu na degradację techniczną przystanku Gdańsk Osowa oraz brak na terenie Gdyni przystanków zlokalizowanych w miejscach potencjalnych węzłów transportowych (istniejące przystanki z uwagi na ich lokalizację nie gwarantują wygenerowania odpowiednich potoków podróżnych), nie jest dostosowana do potrzeb potencjalnych pasażerów. Phase II — Construction of Gdynia Karbura and Gdynia Stadium stops, works/services to be carried out under OPI & E 2014-2020.The section of the railway line No 201 will be constructed by Gdynia Karat and Gdynia Stadion.As a result of the investment carried out, it is planned to operate a regular rail link between Gdańsk Główny — Gdańsk Airport — Gdynia Główna.This railway link will be operated by line E65 (Gdansk area), which is generated by the PKM infrastructure (Gdańsk and Gmina Żukowo) and line 201 (Gdansk and Gdynia).The existing railway infrastructure on line 201, on the section from the inclusion of the infrastructure of PKM to Gdynia, due to the technical degradation of Gdańsk Osowa stop and the lack of stops located at the places of potential transport nodes in Gdynia (existing bus stops because of their location do not guarantee the generation of appropriate travel flows), is not adapted to the needs of potential passengers.
