Zakres inwestycji obejmuje budowę parkingu głównego "Bike&Ride" wraz z budową dróg rowerowych jako dróg dojazdowych do planowanego parkingu. Łącznie w ramach projektu zostanie utworzonych 7498 mb ciągów pieszo-rowerowych. Zostanie utworzony "Bike&Ride" w rejonie przejścia podziemnego pomiędzy ul. Oświęcimską, a ul. Powstańców oraz miejsca postojowe dla rowerów (ul. Armii Krajowej, ul.Słupeckiej, miasteczko rowerowe). Łącznie powstanie 18 miejsc postojowych dla rowerów w ramach "Bike&Ride" oraz 36 miejsc postojowych dla rowerów w pozostałych lokalizacjach (częściowo niekwalifikowane). Projekt przyczyni się do: -poprawy stanu środowiska naturalnego poprzez ograniczenie zanieczyszczeń powietrza z sektora transportowego, -wzrostu świadomości społecznej związanej z ograniczeniem negatywnego wpływu na środowisko sektora transportu. Realizacja projektu wpisuje się w cel Strategii Subregionu Centralnego Województwa Śląskiego CS2 Zdrowe środowisko życia SC dzięki zmniejszonej antropopresjI. (Polish)

The scope of the investment includes the construction of a main car park “Bike & Ride” together with the construction of a bicycle road as access roads to the planned parking area. A total of 7498 mb pedestrian/cycle paths will be created as part of the project. A “Bike & Ride” will be created in the area of the underground passage between ul. Oświęciemska and ul. Powstańców and the parking places for bicycles (ul. The National Army, ul.Słupecka, the town of bicycles). A total of 18 bicycles for bicycles in the framework of “Bike & Ride” and 36 bicycle parking spaces in other locations (partly unqualified ones) will be created. The project will contribute to: The improvement of the natural environment by reducing air pollution from the transport sector, an increase in public awareness related to the reduction of the environmental impact of the transport sector. Project implementation is part of the objective of the CS2 Sub-Region Strategy of the CS Region for Healthy Living Environment of SC thanks to reduced anthroppressures. (English)
