Joint Challenge: The implementation of demonstration projects of Energy Saving (ES) in the large number of energy degraded buildings of the Greek and Cypriot Police and the development of "joint synergies" to achieve ES by 50% in their buildings in 2050. Overall Objective: Implementation of ES demonstration projects in three central public buildings of the Police with high attendance. The Act aims to achieve "synergies" in order to develop "common" interactive models - practices that will sensitize Police officers / citizens and improve their environmental awareness in the area. Main Outputs: a) Standard final studies for the ostentatious integration of ES interventions in 3 emblematic buildings of the Police. b) Auction - implementation of projects. c) Evaluation of the operation of the projects through the issuance of EPC and utilization of the metering provisions. d) Collaborative information actions for ES in Police buildings. e) Website, video, social media and internet tools that promote and further utilize the Greek Cypriot framework of police synergies & the other intended results of the Act. f) Synergies for the practical implementation of the Greek Cypriot framework for the achievement of the 50% ES target in all police buildings in the region by. 2050. Beneficiaries: a) the two Police and other Public Bodies of the cross-border area, b) building users / residents of the cross-border area who will be exemplified by the projection of the results of the Act, c) professionals active in the ES, d) researchers and academic institutions. Approach: Proven technologies / tools are used and proposed Deliverable through 4 properly designed PE, which meet the needs of the eligible cross-border area and maximize the interaction of the 3 National Beneficiary Authorities, ensuring the feasibility. their implementation within 24 months. Cross-Border Approach: All Deliverables were designed with a strong "cross-border character", in order to implement the common will of the Police to achieve the goal of 50% ES in 2050 in their buildings through the use of innovative actions & tools. New / original: The collaborative implementation of ES projects using innovative technologies, the development of a "new concept of synergies" between the two Policies and the development of online tools that apply the most modern ICT technologies. Added value: The results will be transferred to the police / citizens through the use of internet & appropriate tools that will continue to enhance synergies even after the end of the 24 months of the Act! The leaderships of the two Policies with exemplary discipline declare their readiness to utilize the added value of the results of the POLI-SYNERGIES Operation to save 50% in energy and costs in their buildings by 2050.
